What is a CSR?
A CSR (or Certificate Signing Request) is submitted to a Certificate Authority (CA) to request an SSL certificate, often used to enable HTTPS on webpages, or secure other forms of digital communication.
Is this Secure?
Yes! Unlike other online CSR generators, no data is ever sent to a backend server, therefore, no one else sees your CSR or Private Key. This site is also secure by HTTPS meaning no one can snoop on your connection.
Why is it so slow?
The generator runs quite slowly (especially for bigger keys!) since it's all done in a single thread in your browser. This is the trade off for privacy. What's the rush, anyway?
